Things to blog about…

21 01 2007
I’m back from Redmond Reading after a brilliant couple of days at Microsoft. There’s lots I want/need to blog about, but it’s gone 2am and I’m really quite tired so I’ll just give a brief list that I’ll expand upon later.

First of all, a big shout out to Ian Moulster and the crew who organised the whole thing – thanks and I’m waiting for the next version of Windows (Vienna) to be launched just so I can do this all again.
I’d also like to give special mention to Mike Taulty, who come under the heading of "If Carlsberg made Presenters…" – this guy’s presentation skills are to be looked upon in awe.
Next – a thankyou to Zi Makki who organised the Geek Dinner after the first day’s events. I certainly enjoyed meeting the guys from the Next Gen Users Group (subscribe to the Podcast) and I think Dave and Richard have managed to persuade me to sign up for WebDD (Web Developer Day), which of course has another Geek Dinner arranged by Zi following it.

Anyone I’ve forgotten, I’m sorry – it’s late and I’m really quite tired. I’ll expand upon what the last couple of days have been about at some point tomorrow/Monday and in the meantime I’ve put up the photos I took in Reading on Spaces (link for those reading on benshouse.net). I suppose technically I should get myself a flickr account…
